SUNGAI BULOH HOSPITAL

In 1999 the government of Malaysia announced the initiative for the development of a new state-of-the-art hospital for public use. The hospital sits on 130 acres of land just outside of Kuala Lumpur and took three years to build. The main building is detached from the main entrance foyer, separated by a bridge and garden. This is to allow for proper oxygenating and some isolation of the wards to the exterior of the building. Akitek Jururancang Malaysia designed the hospital building and compound. AJM Interiors designed and furnished the interiors.
